PCI-DSS is Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard, one of the fastest growing compliance currently affecting banks, payment service providers and merchants all over the world. The PCI-DSS is basically a contractual obligation for those dealing with payment cards (credit and debit) issued by MasterCard, Visa, Amex, Discover and JCB.
